Directions to the Waterbury YMCA

From Torrington and Points North  - Take Route 8 South to I-84 East to Exit 22 (Baldwin Street/Downtown Waterbury). Take a left at the end of the exit onto South Main Street.  Keep straight through 3 lights. At the 4th light take a left. The YMCA is on the right hand side past the church.  Parking in the rear of the YMCA on Park Place, second driveway on the right and left.

Directions to the Northern Middlesex YMCA

99 Union Street, Middletown, CT 06457 (860-347-6907)

From the North  - Take 91 South to Exit 22S (Route 9). Follow Route 9 South to Exit 14 (DeKoven Drive). Turn LEFT at stop sign onto DeKoven Drive. Turn RIGHT at traffic light onto Union Street.  The Y's parking lot entrance is a short distance up Union Street on the left.  The Y's main entrance faces Union Street, a short distance past the parking area, near the intersection with Main Street.

From the West - Take I-84 to Exist 28/27 (Route 691) to Meriden.  Proceed on Route 691 to I-91.  Take I-91 North to Exit 22S (Route 9). Follow Route 9 South to Exit 14 (DeKoven Drive). Turn LEFT at stop sign onto DeKoven Drive.  Turn RIGHT at traffic light onto Union Street.  The Y's parking lot entrance is a short distance up Union Street on the left.  The Y's main entrance faces Union Street, a short distance past the parking area, near the intersection with Main Street.

Directions to the Meriden YMCA

110 West Main Street, Meriden, CT 06451 (203-235-6386)

From I-691 West  - Take Exit #7 Downtown Meriden.  Turn left at the end of the exit.  (State Street). Go straight on State Street to stop sign (Camp Street).  Cross Camp Street and continue straight on State Street to East Main Street to traffic light (5/10 mile). Railroad tracks are on the right.  Turn right (crossing over the tracks): East Main Street now becomes West Main Street.  This is a one way street: stay in the left lane.  Continue on West Main Street to Butler Street (5th traffic light; 2/10 mile).  Turn left onto Butler Street; The YMCA is on the corner and the parking lot entrance is a half block on the left. This is a one way street as well.

From I-691 East - Take exit #7 Downtown Meriden; go straight to the traffic light (2 stop signs); turn right at the traffic light onto Colony Street.  Continue straight on Colony Street to West Main Street (4th traffic light; 5/10 mile). Turn right onto West Main Street to Butler Street (4th traffic light). West Main Street is a one way street; stay to your left.  Turn left onto Butler Street; the YMCA is on the corner and the parking lot entrance is a half block on the left. This is a one way street as well.

Directions to the Southington YMCA

From Hartford & Points East - Take I-84 West to Exit 32 (Queen St, Rt 10). Turn right at the end of exit. Travel south on Rt. 10.  Count 6 traffic lights (approx 2.2 miles).  Turn right at 7th light (High Street).  YMCA is on your right.

From Waterbury and Points West - Take I 84 East to Exit 32 (Queen St. Rt 10). Turn left at the end of the exit.  Travel south on Rt. 10.  Count 5 traffic lights (approx 2 miles).  Turn right at the 5th light (High Street). YMCA is on your right.

From 91 South - Take exit 14 (Center Street). At the end of the ramp, take a RIGHT onto Center Street. Continue straight on Center Street to the traffic light at Elm Street. Take a RIGHT onto Elm Street. Continue to the first STOP SIGN. Take a RIGHT onto Christian Street. Take a left into the first driveway, across from the Paul Mellon Arts Center. The Choate Pool building is at the far right.

From 91 North  - Take exit 14 (Woodhouse Avenue). Take a left at the end of the ramp onto Woodhouse Ave. Continue on Woodhouse Ave. to the second traffic light at Center Street. Take a LEFT onto Center Street. Continue straight on Center Street to the traffic light at Elm Street. Take a RIGHT onto Elm Street. Continue to the first STOP SIGN. Take a RIGHT onto Christian Street. Take a left into the first driveway, across from the Paul Mellon Arts Center. The Choate Pool building is at the far right.

From Waterbury and points east of Danbury: - I-84 west to exit 7 (US-7 north).  US-7 north to first exit, exit 11 (Federal Rd.).  Take left off exit ramp.  Take right onto Federal Rd. (US-202) at 2^nd light (major intersection).  Pass Costco on left; bear left onto Old New Milford Rd.  Turn left onto Huckleberry Hill Rd.  YMCA is on right.
